Custom art print commissioned by my friend Melanie now in the shop!

I met Melanie through a styled shoot my husband and I modeled in recently. She was my fake bridesmaid in our fake wedding, and even though we were supposed to act like we had been long time friends, it didn't take much acting and it felt like we could be real friends in real life. Fun to spend the day with her and her husband. More photos to come from that shoot soon.

Lots of Reasons to Celebrate

This week, my in-laws celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary and my brother-in-law celebrated his 34th birthday. We love any reason to celebrate in this family, so we all went out to dinner at the Little Water Cantina. A darling, delicious fancy mexican restaurant right on Lake Union. A definite crowd pleaser and we all loved it.

Robyn had mentioned to me that she wanted to take professional maternity photos, but decided to opt out and book a newborn session instead. I knew she was really hoping for a few bump shots so I offered to take some with my big camera just for fun. She happily agreed and we convinced her husband Luke to play along. We went down to the water right after dinner and got some fun shots. Loved being able to capture this!

Styled Shoot for a Local Co

My husband and I were asked to model for a local company in a lifestyle shoot last month. The photographer, Kate Price, was also our wedding photographer and is a friend of mine from college. The shoot was a blast and we had fun in downtown Seattle. I love having shots of us showcasing where we live. This city is amazing and there is no place like Seattle in the summer.
